The Draft Industrial Relation (Goa) Rules, 2021

The Government of Goa vide notification no. 24/19/2021-LAB introduced the draft Industrial Relation (Goa) Rules, 2021. The draft addresses the constitution of the Works Committee and the Grievance Redressal Committee. It further provides requirements and forms for registration of trade unions, standing orders, redressal mechanism for resolution of industrial disputes, and provisions pertaining to strikes and lockouts, lay-off, retrenchment, and closure.  The government has invited objections and suggestions and would consider the draft after thirty days from the date of publication of the draft rules.
