Revision of Employer Contribution to Rs. 30 w-e-f 1st January 2024 under West Bengal LWF Act 1974

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 9(2) of the West Bengal Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1974, the Governor of West Bengal vide Notification No. Labr/576641/2024/(LC-LW/MW) dated 19.11.2024, has revised the rate of contribution of Employer to Rupees 30 (Thirty) from six rupees while the employee contribution remains as it is at Rupees 3 (three).

This notification is deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st January 2024. 

Contribution is payable every 6 months ending on 30th Day of June and 31st December every year.
