The Department of Labour, Skill Development & Employment, Government of Meghalaya issued several notifications dated 5th February 2025, under Ease of Doing Business [EoDB], namely mandate to submit all applications online through Invest Meghalaya Portal, the launch of the Online Single Window System in the public domain for issuing all registrations/licences pertaining to services under various labour laws and also acceptance and implementation of Single Integrated Return under all relevant Labour Laws through this Single Window System, and notification stating that there is currently no categorisation based on risk categories being done for the state of Meghalaya based on the size of firm, business location and based on Foreign/Domestic Investor.
