Labour Law Update: Himachal Pradesh Government has exempted all shops & commercial establishments from the Sections 8, 9 and 10 of the HP S&E

Himachal Pradesh Government vide Notification No. No. Shram(A)4-4/2017 Dated the 28th December, 2022 [Shimla-171002], during celebration of the New Year and due to heavy rush of tourists at the time, has exempted all shops & commercial establishments from the Sections 8, 9 and 10 of the HP S&E Act 1969 w.e.f. 28-12-2022 to 02-01-2023 till 12.00 P.M. midnight in public interest subject to other provisions of the ibid Act and other applicable Labour Laws.
