The Government of India, vide Notification S.O. 387(E), implemented the provisions towards Chapter IV (Contribution), Chapter V (Benefits), and Chapter VI (Adjudication of Disputes and Claims) of The Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (ESI Act) effective from 1st day of February 2023, in all the areas of Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Bhandara, Washim, Gadchiroli and Beed districts, in addition to the already notified areas of the said districts, and in all the areas of Latur, Osmanabad and Parbhani districts, in the State of Maharashtra.
