Employees (Government and private) in Haryana allowed paid holiday on 05-02-2025 to vote in Delhi

Haryana Government vide notification No. 28/02/2025-1HR-I dated 2nd February, 2025 notified that 05.02.2025 (Wednesday) will be observed as paid holiday in all offices, educational and other institutes of the Government of Haryana under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act,, 1881 and Section 135-B of the Representation of People Act, 1951 in respect of those employees who are registered voters of NCT of Delhi for casting vote in the said general election. Also, the employees of various factories, shops and private establishments located in Haryana who are registered voters of NCT of Delhi are also allowed to take paid leave for casting vote in the said general election.
