Revision of Minimum Wages in scheduled employments in Meghalaya w-e-f 1st Jan 2025

In Exercise of Powers conferred under Section 5(2) of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, the Governor of Meghalaya vide Notification No.LE&SD.9/2023/101 dated 14th January, 2025, has revised the floor rates of minimum wages with effect from 1st January, 2025 in respect of 29 scheduled employments as follows – Unskilled – Rs. 525 per day, Semi Skilled – Rs. 565 per day, Skilled – Rs. 605 per day and Highly Skilled – Rs. 645 per day.
