Meghalaya Factories (Amendment) Rules, 2025

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 112 of the Factories Act, 1948, the State Government of Meghalaya vide Notification No.LE&SD.62/2024/85 dated 16th January 2025, notified the Meghalaya Factories (Amendment) Rules, 2025 to further amend the Meghalaya Factories Rules, 1980 vide which the validity of the License has been declared as minimum 1 year to a maximum of 10 years. The amendment also stated that the application for renewal of license shall be made online and shall be made not less than 2 months before the date on which the license expires.
