Punjab & Haryana High Court held the Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act as Ultravires,Un-constitutional and Violative of Part III of the Constitution & therefore ineffective

Reference the subject stated above, this is to inform you that on 17^th November, 2023, the Punjab and Haryana High Court issued the Final Order in the Civil Writ Petitions namely CWP-26573-2021[IMT INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION AND ANOTHER v/s. State of Haryana & Another] allowing the writ petitions and held the Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act, 2020 to be unconstitutional and violative of Part III of the Constitution of India and accordingly held ultravires the same and declared it as ineffective from the date it came into force. [Para 76 of Final Order of CWP-26573-2021].
