Notified Draft On The Industrial Relations (Gujarat) Rules, 2021

Government of Gujarat vide notification No KHR-2021-129-IDA-122020-539471-M (2) has notified the ” The Industrial Relations (Gujarat) Rules, 2021”. The rules shall come into force from the date of commencement of ” The Industrial Relations Code, 2020″ Once made effective, rules would replace (1) The Gujarat Trade Union Regulations, 1963, (2) The Bombay Industrial Employment (Standing Order) Rules, 1959, (3) The Industrial Disputes (Gujarat) Rules, 1966 and applicable accordingly. Therefore, above mentioned rules are still effective, and employers will have to continue to comply with the said legislations as required thereunder, as and when the rules are made effective.
